10hr OSHA is required on all construction sites involving "Major Buildings" in New York City. One of the requirements is that the 10hr OSHA card cannot be more than 5 years old. This means that workers in NYC must take a 10hr OSHA class every 5 years. The 10hr OSHA is a basic construction safety course that uses powerpoints, discussions, group activities, and hands on equipment to give workers an overview of construction safety. There are some topics required by OSHA, and some discussions that will be developed based on the students attending.
