32 Hour Rigging Foreman: A rigging foreman must be onsite at all times work is being performed using suspended scaffolds.
Rigging Foreman must take a 32hr Class with a 8hr Refresher course every 4 years. Class covers basic rigging principles and safety including OSHA, New York City DOB, and New York State building code. Course also covers hands on training with fall protection, knot tying, wire rope termination, self rescue, block & tackle, etc.
Foreman must speak and read English as a DOB requirement.
